Dr Vinika Patel is an experienced dental surgeon specialising in oral surgery and sedation, with over 10 years of clinical experience in both hospital and community settings.
She currently works as a Speciality Doctor in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery at Ealing Hospital and Northwick Park Hospital, where she treats emergency and planned oral surgery patients and performs day-case surgical procedures.
Dr Patel also provides Tier 2 and Tier 3 oral surgery services, including the removal of impacted wisdom teeth, across Berkshire and Buckinghamshire. She works at Sterling Dental Referral Centre, delivering advanced NHS oral surgery and sedation services for anxious adults and children.
Previously, Dr Patel trained and worked at King’s College Hospital, gaining extensive experience in oral surgery, facial trauma, and head and neck cancer care, including treatment under intravenous sedation and general anaesthesia.
Alongside her clinical work, Dr Patel is actively involved in teaching and training dentists. She is a lecturer in oral surgery, a clinical supervisor at the Eastman Dental Institute, and a recognised supervisor for the SAAD sedation scheme. She also works as a Foundation Dental Trainer, supporting newly qualified dentists.
Dr Patel is fully certified in Immediate Life Support (ILS) and Paediatric Immediate Life Support (PILS) and is committed to providing safe, gentle, and patient-centred care.
