Dr Christy is a dedicated dentist who earned her Bachelor of Dental Surgery from Queen’s University Belfast. As a student, she was honoured with the esteemed Elwood Prize for achieving the highest marks in Prosthetic Dentistry. She also received recognition from the Association of British Academic Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons and the Irish Endodontic Society for her award-winning essays.
Christy completed her dental core training in Paediatric Dentistry at UCL Eastman Dental Hospital, where she gained valuable experience managing a wide range of dental conditions, including dental caries, trauma, and anomalies in both primary and permanent teeth. She also worked as a senior house officer in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at King’s College Hospital, where she contributed to the care of orofacial traumas and dental emergencies while developing skills in minor oral surgeries and dentoalveolar procedures.
In addition to obtaining her Membership of the Faculty of Dental Surgery from the Royal College of Surgeons England, Christy has trained in providing dental treatment under inhalation and intravenous sedation. Her fluency in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin allows her to effectively communicate with and support patients from diverse backgrounds. She is passionate about creating a positive experience for her patients, with a focus on delivering high-quality care and achieving aesthetic results.
Currently, Christy is expanding her expertise through postgraduate training in Advanced Aesthetic Dentistry at UCL Eastman Dental Hospital. She remains committed to staying up to date with the latest advancements in dentistry by regularly attending professional development courses, presenting at both national and international conferences, and contributing to dental journals.
