Contact Us

At East Village Dental we help create lifelong healthy habits and a positive experience for our youngest patients, ensuring their long-term oral health well into the future.

What dental treatments do you provide for children?

The most important dental treatment we provide for children is regular dental exams and check-ups. As with all our patients, we recommend and promote regular check-ups with us to help ensure their oral health is being maintained.

With regular check-ups, we’re able to keep an eye on any preventive measures or restorative treatments that might be needed. This could include fluoride application, fillings, or as they get older, orthodontic treatments.

When should I first bring my child into the dentist?

At East Village Dental, we recommend bringing in your child to visit us when their first tooth erupts, or by the time they turn 12-18 months. This might seem young, but we have found that this helps the child get used to regular check-ups and examinations, and can help stop any dental phobias or anxieties from forming.

What steps should I take at home to help with my child’s oral health?

Good oral health starts at home, and ideally at a young age. If you’re unsure of where to start, our team can help you form an at-home dental care routine and can offer advice on brushing techniques and toothpaste. A positive attitude towards caring for your teeth and oral health is one of the better places to start and we always recommend parents try to lead by example!

How often should I bring my child into the dentist?

We recommend bringing children in every six months or so. Regular check-ups such as these will help us thoroughly review their overall oral health and evaluate the development of their teeth.
